Dévé Satellite Onyx Necklace

The Satellite Onyx necklace is thoughtfully crafted in 18k gold vermeil. The pendant, measuring 38mm across and 13mm thick, inset with a 33mm Black Onyx stone, is elegantly balanced upon a 70cm long and 1.8mm thick box chain. Please note, all stones are natural gemstones and will present variations in colour and pattern.

Built in 1929 as a coastal villa for her and lover, Jean Badovici, Eileen Grey’s, “E-1027” in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is an architectural manifesto for her discerning taste and modernist vision. Inspired by the villa’s meticulously designed details – including Grey’s modular, “Satellite” mirror – this pendant speaks to how intentionally designed objects of use become a part of one’s personal mythology.
