Designer Spotlight: Monique Péan

Monique Péan began her eco-friendly fine jewelry collection in 2006. Her one-of-a-kind pieces are well known for using unique materials, such as fossilized walrus ivory and fossilized dinosaur bone. Handmade by master craftsmen in New York City, each piece exclusively uses recycled 18k gold and platinum, found materials and repurposed, or responsibly sourced conflict-free and devastation-free diamonds. Monique strives to bring awareness to art, design and environmental issues with her pieces and she has won several awards for her innovations and sustainability. Monique Péan has been worn by the likes of Michelle Obama, Natalie Portman and Emma Watson.
